On Saturday, March 12, 2016, the Niagara Jr Purple Eagles Girls 19U Tier I team coached by Scott Welsh defeated Midstate 5-0 at HARBORCENTER to win the NYSAHA State Championship.
 
The Girls 19U team will now play in the upcoming 2016  USA Hockey National Tournament.
 
Girls Tier-I tournament will take place in March 31 to April 4, 2016, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
