On August 8th the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles were pleased to honor this year's Gary Hill Memorial Scholarship winners.  The skaters who received this award are all NJPE players who excelled not only on the ice, but also in the classroom.  They are a wonderful, exemplary group of young men and we are proud to call them members of the NJPE family.

The Gary Hill Scholarship is named in memory of Gary Hill, a longtime hockey coach and mentor.  The scholarship honors skaters who have shown dedication to the league, academic achievement, humanitarianism and extra curricular activities.  

Pictured with members of the Hill family are this year's winners, as well as board members Marc Catanzaro and Melissa Udy.  The six young men who received this year's honor were:
