NJPE Girls House Program

Niagara Junior Purple Eagles offers an ADM style program for girls aged 5-10. The program includes:
  • Separate girls-only practices
  • Emphasis on skill development and fun
  • Cross-ice games against other local girls teams
  • Girls of all skill levels are welcome

NJPE 12U Girls Hockey Program

The NJPE 12U Girls Hockey will organize and structure a 12U team to compete in the Great Lakes Girls Travel Hockey League, possible local and travel tournaments and a few exhibition games. The NJPE program is based on a 26 week calendar operating from September through mid-March. The Girls 10U program will run the same as last year.

Program Goals
• Build strong skills and skating
• Appropriate practice to game ratio at this age - 3 practices to 1 game
• Development of players to build program year to year
• Concentrate heavily on the USA hockey ADM system –
• Let the girls have fun and want to come to the ice excited to practice or play!

Program Ice Totals
• 65 Shared Ice Team Practices
• 20 League Games approx.
• 4 Tournament Games – one away tournament to be determined – Feb?
• 2-4 Exhibition Games
• Two ice times per month in June, July, August (optional - charged per practice)
• Off ice sessions late summer/early fall to learn team concepts        (positioning, face offs, etc.)

NJPE Team Uniform Package
•    Home and Away Team Jersey and Socks – required
•    Team Warm-Up Jacket & Pant - optional

Estimated Cost per player
• Projecting per player cost in $600-$700 range excluding jerseys
• Jerseys costs approx. $100-$150 (home & away plus socks)
• Additional cost for team warm-ups (optional)
• Sponsors and fundraising could offset some costs
• If selected $300 will be due at tryouts with a signed contract
