COVID UPDATE

Under New York State guidelines, hockey has been categorized as a “High Risk” sport. As such, hockey teams can practice and run clinic type practices. Currently, there are restrictions against competitive practices, scrimmages, and games. The plan for the upcoming House League and Travel seasons are to operate within these guidelines until New York State changes them. If/when things change, we will open up practices and games as allowed by our Governor’s executive orders. This may mean a season of practices, without games. Although I completely understand from a child’s perspective that this is less than ideal, from a hockey skills/skating development perspective, this is an excellent opportunity for young hockey players to improve and hone their skills and skating techniques.

Hope to see you all at the rink this fall!
